Our LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT team has been kept small purposely to encourage an interactive approach between students and the training officers of our client companies.
This IFTI approach is reassuring for our students, and provides excellent motivation when learning a foreign language.

Our Administrator in charge of language courses is a graduate of the “Ecole Supérieure Pédagogique” and has over twenty years' experience in further and higher education in the field of foreign languages, particularly in :
• Organising and managing language study programs (planning – organising exchanges between the head of languages teachers and students)
• Monitoring language courses
• Management of teaching staff
• Administrative management of dossiers
• Recruiting teachers
He is always available when the client needs him and ready to help with any administrative point or particular need in relation with the language program as detailed in the contract.

Our Course Director has over fifteen years' experience in adult education. She has completed a course in comparative studies in American and British English and also a teacher training course for TEFL.
Her role mainly involves :
• Testing students.
• Creating and organizing language programs.
• Training teachers.
• To attend all review meetings concerning teaching materials (books on teaching methods, audio and video cassettes, CDRoms, Internet, newspapers and magazines, etc. on a regular basis.
• Assessing students' learning progress.
All Teachers at IFTI are experienced, competent in their specialist fields, bilingual or trilingual and R.S.A. and/or CTFELA qualified,
They teach their mother tongue.
Our teachers are arts graduates, psychologists, members of the medical professions, jurists, journalists etc. They are keen to help and have an excellent capacity for listening.
Their knowledge is adapted to the specific requirements of each trainee.
They form a homogeneous and dynamic team, sharing the same approach to ensure coherence of teaching methods and are supervised by our in-house teacher training tutor.
- They receive training in the educational methods applied in our language programs.
- The average age of our teachers is 30.
Most of them have worked at IFTI since the creation of the Language Department.
- They are salaried staff (with the exception of external teaching
Consultants) employed under the “Convention Collective Nationale des Organismes de Formation”(National guidelines for private schools providing further education in France)
and have full-time, part-time or three-quarter time permanent contracts.

ALL MODERN LANGUAGES
For time-saving purposes, we organise your courses on company premises (in your own buildings) to fit in with your work commitments.
We are available from Monday to Saturday morning, on appointment.
The programs are tailor-made to suit your level and your objectives.
Tuition formulas you can choose from at IFTI :
ONE TO ONE AND/OR GROUP CLASSES
• Accelerated courses: 3 hours a day – 5 days per week.
• Semi-intensive: 4 hours a day – 5 days per week
• Intensive: 6 hours a day – 5 days per week
• Immersion: Seven and a half hours a day – 5 days per week (1h 30 minutes lunch break with the teacher included).
• Extensive: 1h 30 minutes lessons, on 1 or 3 occasions per week.
We set up your customized thematic workshops to fit in with your language level and the language needs of your professional field.
We set up your own Multimedia Centre: for all levels and to suit your progress rate.
Courses by telephone: focussing on the acquisition of oral and listening comprehension skills.
